About
Sarah is a Registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor with more than a decade of experience supporting people with their mental health and well-being. Most recently she has put her expertise to use as a highly respected senior psychologist, team leader, and clinical supervisor in the public sector.
Sarah’s work is trauma-informed, strengths-focused, and focused on the person rather than a diagnosis. Relational trust and respect are the cornerstones of her practice, allowing you to feel safe and supported as you embark on the therapeutic process.
Sarah flexibly draws from a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and creatively applies them according to your needs and preferences. Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) practices are fully integrated into each session, ensuring the best therapeutic outcome for each client.
Sarah has worked extensively with LGBTI+ clients and those who are questioning or exploring their sexuality or gender identity. She is strongly committed to providing space to explore these issues either as a standalone topic or within the broader context of your mental health and well-being. If you are looking for support relating to body image or weight-related bias, Sarah is also proud to offer an accessible and weight-neutral practice. In addition, Sarah has significant experience working with neurodiverse clients and is happy to tailor sessions to different cognitive styles or communication preferences.
On a personal level, Sarah enjoys joyful movement through walking, yoga, or swimming. She has recently taken up making garments for herself and enjoys this as an act of creative resistance in a world where bigger bodies are not always welcome or included.
